LaGrande Oregon is where Arctic Fox and Nash trailers are made .
Milwaukie Oregon is where Komfort trailers are made .
Each of those are a full day's drive from SLC .
All 3 are heavier duty trailers than the run of the mill stuff from Elkhart Indiana .
Those 3 are all excellent .
I have an 11 year old Komfort purchased new that I factory ordered after owning 3 other RV's .
It has been trouble free .
I compared the 3 extensively and chose the less popular Komfort due to heavier duty construction .
I tow with a diesel GMC .
Those 3 may not be as good a choice for someone living in Texas but from Utah I would make sure that I closely examined the qualities that these 3 offer .
Get a bid from 3 dealers for a factory order with exactly the same specs .
If your local dealer is not lowest , then show him the other bids and ask for a price match .
That worked for me .
I prefer to stay away from brand discussions unless it is very clear .
This decision was very clear to me then and now .
For my first ( and second and third) trailer I bought late model used .
I resold with very little loss after I learned by doing what constituted a good trailer .
That exercise worked well for me .
