Deciding which camper?

We really like the Coachmen 282BHDS and 310BHDS. I'm sure everybody makes these floor plans but I can buy Forest river-Coachmen- Heritage Glen- & Vibe very local (30 miles away). They have a similar vibe a little cheaper but i dont know anything about a Vibe. Any body have a 282 or 310? Problems or all good? Gonna buy before summer and want a good one. Thanks.

    Use the Search function on this website to get posted information on makes, models, etc. Start by searching for the manufacturer eg. `Forest River' then search for the model `Ambassador' (i made it up). Don't search for `Forest River Ambassador' since the system will search for that exact phrase which may not have been used in exactly that way.

    The industry makes 300,000 TTs and 5ers a year. A certain number are going to have issues.

    I guess the consumer gets to guess which.

    I suspect cost is a good indicator, Air Streams seem to do well.

    Yeah, don't we all. :W

    We've had a Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS for 3 seasons now with just the usual niggling sort of issues any trailer can have, nothing especially major so far. Despite any manufacturer claim to the contrary (don't they all?!) I'd consider "quality" about average, no better or worse than most other brands.
