DEF storage
I know there is a heater in the DEF tank of my Ford. If the DEF fluid was to freeze while in my toolbox, could it be safely used after thawing out? Thank and Happy Travels

yes. In fact if you live in cold climates, it will likely freeze almost every night and then get thawed by a heater when you start the truck. DEF freezes around 12F.
In fact freezing is pretty much a non issue. Now storing DEF for a long time at high temp is. It's "shelf" life decreases with ambient temperature. much above a constant 100F starts to decrease it's shelf life noticeably.
