DEF Warning in F350
While on a trip a message popped up "def range 400 miles." When I got home the next day the message was down to 200 miles. I added DEF but the message remains. I'm down to 100 miles and worried that...

I don't drive it enough to use it up all that fast sometimes. DEF that has gone bad in the tank pretty much means a tow truck to the dealer. Not a warranty item either.
I'm glad my Ford doesn't have the DEF Poor Quality problems. :W
And you should also know that DEF that has degraded will no longer do the job for which it is intended right?
So degraded DEF in ANY brands tank will cause problems..... The Fed simply won't allow a DEF system that is not functioning properly to let the truck run and pollute.... Even in your beloved Ford.

Nothing earthshattering here...
I simply fill my DEF using the Motorcraft spout at every oil change. It's that simple... Oh, and no DEF poor quality messages either... Sorry wrong brand that's a GM thing. :W
