DEF Warning in F350
While on a trip a message popped up "def range 400 miles." When I got home the next day the message was down to 200 miles. I added DEF but the message remains. I'm down to 100 miles and worried that...

Love the truck but this is only complaint. Minor.
If you purchase DEF from a container I would recommend purchasing the Ford brand spout. It doesn't allow you to over fill and it also snaps into the fill port which holds it in place which is nice. Once completed rinse the spout with clean water, air dry and store it in the large zip lock bag that it came in for the next refill. It works like a champ.
Tried to get one of the ford spouts that prevent overfill and parts counter guy tells me they no longer exist ..... BS perhaps?
