my wife buys the moisture eliminator from the dollar store. she puts 3 around the trailer, she really likes them. I showed her the post about it draining into the sink and asked if it was toxic.
am wondering, how do I tell if I am getting all the moisture out. is there a meter for checking.
You could go to a thrift store and buy a
Hygrometer, hang it on a wall. A lot of them were made with thermometer and/or barometer on a wood mounting board.
An alternative:
Stand-alone indoor weather stationYour comfort level and durability of the interior will be your own numbers but
advisable humidity is around 40% for comfort. You can make it like the Atacama if you're worried about rust. Somewhere in between will also keep your wood work at the correct humidity.
