I've read this before and I've seen it go both ways. It may have something to do with market regions, time of the year, salesperson, I just don't know.
Last year about this time I was getting ready to purchase a 2015 RAM 3500, I worked with Dillon, I wanted the rear air leveling so I had to place an order. They sent me the paperwork listing the current incentives indicating if better incentives when I took delivery I would get those otherwise here is the price with current incentives.
I ended up with a local dealer that price match Dillon, same thing, price locked with current incentives, if the incentive were better at time of delivery, I would get the lower price, and I did, and extra $250 in incentives.
