I put down a deposit on a 5500b 29ft travel trailer
You need two pieces of information. What is the gross weight not dry weight of the trailer? And then use around 13 percent of that gross weight number to calculate the tongue weight. Then look at that tongue weight and deduct it from the available payload of the truck (including people, dogs, bicycles, kayaks, bbq's, tools, etc.) and see if there is any room for that tongue weight. Oh wait, my bad, the space shuttle probably weighed more than your new trailer. What am I thinking!
