I towed a 27' TT with a 5.7 Tundra. I did it but was overloaded quickly. It swayed, I white knuckled every time I passed a big truck, and bounced down the freeway. I even had air bags. It was not pleasant but I didn't know any better. This was before I joined this forum. I moved to a 3500 diesel and a 5th wheel and can't believe the difference!
All I can say is, if you have to ask if your truck can tow it; you probably already know the answer! Do yourself a favor and get enough truck to do the job right. Too much truck won't hurt you; too little will!
