Your post got me to thinking though about the idea of seasonal camping in our little 19 footer ... it's still our home away from home when camping and has pretty well everything we need, just in a smaller package. I wonder how many do seasonal camp in trailers this size. :h
People seasonal camp in many styles and sizes of RVs. In summer, I go camping. In winter, not, hence the reason I'd say "that is seasonal camping".- gmw_photosExplorer

Since this is somewhat off-topic, so as not to hijack the OP's thread, it might a good new thread to start, Sound Guy. You start it, I'll weigh in on it ( I have wintered in the south three different years in my 19 footer ). - CamorhinoExplorerWe have a Franklin with 4 slides. Absolutely love it. Perfect to get out of the MH between trips. It is easily towable, but does not have any tanks so is a umbilical queen. ;)
- qtla9111NomadI know it says "destination" trailer but do you move it at anytime during the year?

We're fans ourselves of smaller trailers, having downsized a few years ago to a 19' couple's model, and although I suppose we could seasonal camp with it we never have, instead preferring to make the most of it's ease of towing and the ability to place it on pretty well any campsite by traveling with it. I suspect what the OP was referring to by "destination trailer" are those MUCH larger, in the 35' - 40'+ range that generally aren't towed anywhere other than to one location where they sit for the season or many seasons without moving anywhere. ;) - tnrv_erExplorer II2016 KZ 17RBS it's 1 1/2 years old and no issues. Very happy with camper. Perfect for me and the wife.
- rjf7gExplorerWe have a 2007 Gulf Stream Innsbruck 36FRS and it has served us well. We are ready for something different, though.
