Every trailer we've owned - popups, a hybrid, travel trailers - has come with a non-detachable main service power cord. 15 yrs ago I installed a
Marinco Park Power Conversion Kit on our popup and subsequently moved it to every trailer we've owned since including our current Coachmen Freedom Express. 30 amp cable is stiff enough as it is and difficult to push back in through a "mouse hole" without tangling, 50 amp is even worse, and as outside temps drop it can become impossible. I personally wouldn't own any trailer that did not have a detachable main service power cord.
