On the refrigerator discussion, I think "most" people with slide in truck campers have been so used to having a 3 way fridge for so long, thinking about a 2 way refrigerator is scary to think about.
Without a doubt, the key is having enough solar power and good AGM or Lithium batteries to power the fridge off grid for an extended amount of time.
I have a Northern Lite hard side camper with a 3 way refrigerator and it has been great for me but if I had a pop up (have actually been looking at 4 Wheel Campers of late) I would no doubt get a 2 way fridge with plenty of solar power.
