One thing that bothers me about the TL front tie down's on late model (Ford) short bed trucks is that the tie down is directly over the fuel door when the tie down is attached to the front anchor. I have 2 friends with Ford's and they both have that exact issue. The front tie down plate needs to be about 4" longer to move the tie down rod ahead far enough to allow fuel filling without chewing up the paint on the fuel door. Moving it forward will also increase the tie down angle as the front tie down (on both of my friend's) campers is almost vertical and that isn't good. You want the front anchor to be angled not vertical. That keeps the camper from moving back.
