diesel engine in 2015 Ford F150
Just read in Auto Guide that Ford announced they are going to have a 3.0 V6 diesel option in the 2015 F150. As a consumer nothing beats competition!

The V6 rumors from 2008 I think were possibly the 4.5 Navistar V6 that Ford used in its short lived (at least in the US) LCF commercial trucks. It was basically 3/4 of a 6.0, so maybe it only had 3/4 of the problems. :)
I think the inline 5 cylinder 3.2 would be a good diesel for the F150 if Ford decides to go that way. They may well be waiting to see how the Ram 1500 diesel does.
