Diesel mpg
Question: those of you who use a diesel truck to pull an RV, what kind mpg do you get when you pull your RV?

03 dodge/Cummins, towing chip, 4" exhaust, no cat or dpf (no emissions add ons on the early 03). Averged around 15mpg towing an 8000lb 5th wheel. Traded that for a much lighter Casita and have averaged over 20mpg on every trip with it. Towing in West Texas means mostly around 70mph (100mph rated LT tires on the Casita). Not towing, it will average 25mpg on a long haul. I think the Standard Output 03 Cummins was the most economical of the Cummins powered Dodges.
