Diesel price war

Local Stations are now charging .10 to .20 cents less for diesel than for Regular unleaded Gasoline.

This developed over a very short time. Not sure what caused it.

Stations actually have posted 'diesel price war' next to their signs.

My neck of Oregon about $2.59 for diesel, about a dime less for gas

It hasn't happened here. Still $1.23/liter.

Curious where that is. Just put 15 bucks of diesel in the smart car at 1.04 per litre in the Okanagan. Filled up the motorhome at 86 per litre a few weeks ago. Sure changes regionally.
  • I'm in the central valley in California. Yea, gasoline did take a jump up to 2.95 and more. But diesel had been 40 to 50 cents higher than gas for years. It's now 10 to 20 cents lower.

Diesel is now 2.65 to 2.75

  • $2.209 for gas and 2.259 for diesel at Sams Club in Phoenix, AZ where I buy fuel. Diesel has been within 4 or 5 cents of gas for a couple of weeks or more there.
  • Not sure where you are but we were happy campers yesterday that we switched from Diesel to Gas on the latest truck. $2.15/gal for gas vs $2.80/gal for diesel in Michigan.
  • We paid $2.35 in Arizona and $2.95 in Jerry Brown's State...:M.....Dennis
