It might be limited slip but it's pretty limited now days. I watch my wife pull up into our garage with our new truck when we first got it and was amazed. My 05 would have never done it without locking in 4X4. The new truck never slipped a wheel and she had it cut on a lock to be able to make the turn.
I think you will be surprised with you new one when it arrives. The vehicles brakes help it transfer the power to the wheel with traction.;)
My current truck has a limited slip, and it's all but useless. I'm really hoping the new truck's LS is better. It's required with the 4.10s for some reason, so it cots me an extra $600 total. $100 for the 4.10 and $500 for the then required LS. :E
