Differential fluid change
OK this is my first time doing this. I have the correct fluid and I hope the correct gasket. My question is: do I use permatex on the gasket or leave it clean?

If yours has the finned aluminum factory cover I would get a live locker gasket. When I did my Excursion I installed the finned cover and used that gasket. They are reusable and mine never leaked. You will not have to spend time cleaning off the sealer!
