Differential fluid change
OK this is my first time doing this. I have the correct fluid and I hope the correct gasket. My question is: do I use permatex on the gasket or leave it clean?

The "Right Stuff" and silicone RTV are two totally different thing.
The "Right Stuff" is a very good sealer. Gaskets work too but mine seep after a while where the RS does not leak a drop........ever.
Yeah but will my local Napa have it? I've put this off enough so I don't want to wait for an order to get here. So if they have silicone RTV and not the Right Stuff that's what I'll be using.
I guarantee you NAPA and any other Auto Parts Store will have it. Lot's of different size and types of applicators.
