To everyone else, while I still got the old stock diff covers with a few coats of spray paint on them, lol, and diffs full of snakezoil, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you a heat sink will help about anything that shouldn't get too hot. But pretty much any mech engr or someone with a high school understanding of thermodynamics can explain the effect!
