For what is worth. Have a 2003 Ram dually quad that we fulltime with pulling a 39'fiver. The manual stated for warranty purposes rear end fluid needs changed at 15,30,45,60,000 miles. I changed mine with Mobil 1 synthetic 75/140 at 15,30,skipped 45, then again at 60,000. Didn't change it again until two weeks ago at 203,400 miles. Maybe it will puke next week, but works for us. Oh, and also it is the OEM cover.
