Disaster averted but barely. Thanking the good Lord above.

Had an F150 driver's side front wheel pass in front of me in a 45 zone. Felt a little shimmy and then the tire went past. Luckily, I did not slam on the brakes. Can't explain why I didn't. Banged up the front end pretty good. Lug nuts were "overtightened"per the shop person. He said this was evidenced by the one still on that came through the hole in the rim.
Scary stuff. Glad you are okay and that you were not going at highway speeds.
