Glad to know it turned out ok.
I never worried too much about going back after 500 or so miles and checking the wheel lugs after rotating the tires or having the wheels off for some other reason until a few years ago. I had rotated the tires myself so I know the lugs were torqued properly with a torque wrench. When I do a rotation, the last thing I do is go completely around the vehicle and verify the torque one last time to make sure I didn't miss something. Fast forward a few weeks after the rotation and I was washing the car and when I was washing the rims, noticed one of the lugs move and realized it had loosened somehow. Luckily the rest were fine. Now, I always go back after a week or so and recheck the torque.
