A 20 pound tank is the same diameter as the 11 pound tank, but much cheaper to buy.
Why not put a 20 lb. tank on the tongue and carry the 11 lb. as a spare?
1 lb. bottles are expensive. Refillable will pay for itself in no time.
I have a portable 3 way fridge that I can run off disposable tanks and have done that but bought the adapter to use 20 lb. tank.
Hook up your adapter and run the fridge to see how long a disposable tank will last, so you at least have a number to use to figure out the cost effectiveness of all your options.
