I also have thought about one over the rear door, but I am not sure on that one yet because of the lines and door clearance.
If anyone has done that, I would like to see pictures:)

No pictures, but it can be made to work if you have one of those useless luggage racks on top of your camper and a ladder to get to the top.
- Bolt a standard single coat or broom hook on both of the side rails with the hook elbow facing back about 1 foot forward of the rear of the camper.
- Get a 10 x 12 tarp and 10 feet of electrical conduit pipe (3/4" is the best
- Cut the pipe in two and use a conduit splice connector that is permanently attached to one end of the pipe
- Connect the two pieces of 5 ' pipe together with splice connector and attach 10 ' side of tarp to it with Quickstraps (zapstraps) through the gromments and the pipe
- Climb ladder, and hook the outside ends of the connected pipe inside of hooks
- Stretch out 12' length of tarp to two pole
- Use spikes to tie poles to ground (two spikes and rope for each poles) at 45' and straight out from back of pole
- When finished with tarp, open splice between two poles, fold over tarp in half so poles now are together and roll up poles inside tarp.
