When we decided to get a rear door awning after the hassles of procuring the side awning documented here on the forum I went with readily available REI bag awning. It is a bit more awkward to set up than a crank out but we didn't have room for one of those. This one is attached to the unused luggage rack and we modified the front legs by removing the feet and drilling goes to attach to brackets from marine supply store that are permanently attached to our cargo tray/steps at the proper height to clear the door. Door has an awning saver ball on door and screen door but isn't needed. The angle of the awning with the height of the camper roof meant that the twist lock legs couldn't be used on the ground. Too short. Now the awning is attached when up as many side awnings are. It also has a slide slot for additional shade on the front bar if desired. Took a little redneck wife engineering to fab up but managed with only an electric drill and lots of thought BEFORE drilling and some snap in pins.
