I wanted a simple awning that came off the back of my camper to keep the back area behind the camper dry and shaded. On my Alpenlite I attached two HD coat hooks to the top of the luggage rack facing forward. I have a 10x 15 tarp with 3/4" electrical conduit pipe quick strapped to the 10' edge with a conduit connector in the ctr. The tarp is folded in half and rolled up over the 5' length of the 2 conduit for storage. When I need the "awning", I roll out the tarp, unfold it, connect the two pieces of conduit together and attach to the two hooks on the luggage rack. Two tent poles and pre-tied support ropes hold the other end and I have my awning.
