Center of gravity!!!!! Center of gravity!!!!!! Most important thing. The rear looks alot heavier than the front. You would know more than me I just thought I would point it out. Look at the picture. I put mine too far forward and had to do the whole thing again. Good luck. I won't bring this up again. It looks good.
I think wagonqueen would appreciate any advice you can give if you all ready have one installed. I know I would.
My camper is so attractive, I had to do something to ugly it up a bit... - Wagonqueen_TrucExplorer

Just a thought, what about placing a heavy duty piece of aluminum or steel angle along the whole camper from door to the front, then mount Stable Lift?
Great minds think alike. When we rebuilt this TC a few years, before we put the skin back on, we installed full length angle iron along each side. Plus we already cut steel plates for when we screw the lift on. - Wagonqueen_TrucExplorer

I sooooooooo appreciate any and all advice. And YES, we are nervous. I figured out the COG based on an old COG drawing from Amerigo. It's still nerve wracking though. As you can see in the pic, I have not taken the old jacks off yet. They aren't in the way for install, so they are staying on til the end. The lift isn't drilled out yet as we are rechecking a few measurements one last time. - Reddog1Explorer II

I don't think that is the purpose of this thread. Some folks have ugly children, but we restrain ourselves from saying so. Most of us think some TCs or trucks are ugly, but again we restrain ourselves from saying so. Fact is, some people do not think the Stable Lift is ugly.
... I still think those are really ugly. :)
