It's a good question and one I've pondered lately also. Truth is, there are just so many possible things that could leave you broke down its impossible to say. Most common things I would address would be battery and starter. Beyond that, would have to be psyhic. But a spare battery, or at least high quality Optima battery, a battery jump start pack, might be worth carrying.
