The only papers I received when I bought my used camper was a bill of sale from the owner. She told me that she never received anything from the previous owner other than a bill of sale.
I have my camper fully insured. According to NADA its valued at nearly twice what I paid for it. I would definitely talk with your ins agent. Its cheaper than you think.
Here in Utah we're required to register our slide-in campers.
I had to had the vin # verified by a LEO. When I took the paper work to the DMV they could not pull up a record of my camper ever being registered.
My camper is now registered, insured and I now have a title of ownership for it.
I also registered and insured my ATV trailer which is not required here in Utah. It too has a replacement value of more than what I paid for it when I purchased it new 12 years ago. I now have a title of ownership for it too.
