I'll bet that the trailer moved forward which caused the problem. That doesn't make the OP's situation any better. I understand why people would buy these kind of products, because the jacks take so long to move up and down. I certainly like the electric jack on my 34' Avion, but when I built the trailer for my C-11 I went with a 5,000# manual jack that has the built in pivot. Even though I don't like cranking a jack, it only takes a few turns to get it clear and then I just pivot the entire jack out of the way and off I go. Unfortunaly, these type of jacks require welding to the side of the frame.
