Hard to explain in writing.
But when approaching any backing in scenario. It is best and easiest to back in from the drivers side where you have direct access to your drivers side mirror. Truckers have a name for this just can't remember it. Maybe an ex trucker RV can chime in with what it's called and explain it better.
I will go around the park to come in the other end of the road in to be able to approach my CG site so when I am backing in I am using the 'drivers' side mirror not the passenger side mirror. Makes a BIG difference.
Try it sometime at home you won't believe how much easier it is. And well worth the time to circle the road and come back and back in on the easy side.
