Do you equip your "backup spotter" with a walkie-talkie?

I point, he moves. sometimes I have to bang on the side for him to stop. Makes all the other people around us amused. Only had problems when he tried to move on his own - the tree came out of no where I understand. Have a back up camera but it doesn't see everything.
Has worked for 100,000 miles - not changing now.
