- jim1632ExplorerCurrently have a 5.7 Camplite TC mounted on 4-door 2006 Dodge Dakota 4x4 and a 24-foot Gulfstream Class C. My wife's family lives in Denver area so I intended to use TC for short east coast trips and store the RV in Denver area for longer western trips.
Idea didn't work out quite as intended as the storage of RV at a distance removes opportunities for maintenance/improvements during the winter. It is now back home in a storage lot on I-95 south of DC area.
Last fall, I began to clean-up and enhance the Camplite for sale. My wife intervened, saying that she liked to camp in the TC, so I have the camper sitting in the driveway now as I do some improvements on the truck.
Really love the cozy 5.7 Camplite but it has no facilities for cooking or heating during cold spells. We normally cook at camp table but bad weather periods interfere with that. Have less than $10,000 in a camper that is designed not to rot so I either have a long-term addition to my collection or a model that can be sold at a reasonable price. - BoatycallExplorer"Have" or "Had"? I've had 5 TC's over the years. I've also had a TC and a second RV at the same time, a TT for a while, then a TH. But i can say I've only once had two TC's at the same time, and that really was just a transition, bought one and had to wait for the other to sell.
I've never actually utilized 2 TC's at once.
