- Doug33ExplorerMy 19" was pre-mounted, so I leave it there when traveling. As a matter of fact, the pre-mounted TV was one of the reasons my wife wanted to buy our TT over the other models that did not have a mounted TV. We had to set up our TVs in the old TT, which was a pain sometimes.
- CavemanCharlieExplorer IIII bought a lift off bracket so I could move my TV to different places in the camper or take it down. During travel I always take it down and put it on the cushions.
- Farm_CampExplorerMine both stay up. The one in the front bedroom is on a swing/tilting arm that folds back almost flush to the wall when stowed and has a built in locking thingy to hold itself in place when going down the road.
The only thing I have to remember to do is actually fold it back and make sure that the locking thingy actually does make that little click noise! LOL. Forgot to do that on one trip and found the screen extended out from the wall pretty far when we got it back to the storage lot - but even then there was nothing damaged. I just learned another checklist item for the next trip... - CGXterraExplorer32 in the living room mounted directly to the wall and a 19 in the bedroom that is on an articulating arm that we bungee down. No problems at all leaving them up. I've hit bumps hard enough that I actually stopped to get out and check things out, no probs.
- wmosesExplorerThanks for all the replies so far, it is very much appreciated. It would appear, without counting, that most of the respondents said that they leave theirs up and that makes me feel more comfortable.
The TV weighs about 7.5# and with the mount being less than 2.5 inches off the wall the shear loading on the wall parallel to the wall is maximized which is a good thing. I will leave it up and see what happens.
The 32" TV in the rear living area that came with the trailer is mouned on an articulated arm that, for travel, is stored "collapsed" with the TV "clipped" to the mount assembly. It is heavier and with a longer standoff from the wall but at the same time the backing support is likely more substantial too. I don't think twice about leaving this TV up (in other words, it aint coming down for travel!) and it probably also "jiggles" when going down the road, as the bedroom TV is likely to do.
I will update the thread after the next camping trip. - westendExplorerYou're probably going to be OK leaving the screen on the wall mount. The screen and bracket weigh less than 20 lbs so two 2" screws would hold that weight no problem. The only problem may occur if there is motion within the bracket or the mounting holes of the screen are questionable.

Same for me. Jim. - GordonThreeExplorerI leave my 26" LED attached all the time, it's on an extendo arm too. most of the time it doesn't move at all, sometimes if I've traveled a very curvy road, it creeps away from the wall a little.
it's attached to an arm rated for 50 lbs (tv weighs about 7), the arm is fastened to a backer plate with three lag screws. - OasisbobExplorerMy 19 is mounted on a swivel mount and I do not take it down. I do bungee so it does not move. For what it's worth.
