Our outside kitchen is a flip down door on the side of the camper that has a small sink and a 2 burner propane stove, no refrigerator. We purchased this camper last September and absolutely love it.
We've always cooked outside. We had 2 Coleman Camp stoves, an electric griddle, electric frying pan, and everything imaginable for cooking direct over a campfire. As a result, we've always had to carry all this stuff with us. Wit the new outside kitchen, we gave away all our Coleman camp stove stuff, hoses, propane tank, everything! We still have the electric griddle and skillet. We used the outside kitchen and love it. Not having all that "junk" to set up all the time is wonderful! We very-very seldom ever use the stove inside the camper, even in cold weather.
I'm not so sure I'd want the full kitchen outside. I understand that most of those kitchens the refrigerator is electric only. And they take up a lot of space from inside the camper. The inside is usually configured around bunk-beds. We do not have need for bunk beds, so our current configuration is wonderful!
Outside meal preparation: 99.999% of the time. Inside meal prepartion: 0.001% of the time!
