I really enjoy our 03. 4 doors (not a MegaCab), dually, 4x4 and it gets 15 towing either trailer. I have an Edge CS Juice but it is only used on 1 Mileage or 2 Tow. 4" exhaust and that is it for performance upgrades. You don't need to worry too much about the transmission unless you plan on turning up the power. If you do want to turn it up you still don't have to do very much to make it a better trans without a lot of money. The money you save buying an older vehicle can be used somewhere else.
