Jeez, I guess I better get my 290,000kms diesel checked over then! I use synthetic 0W-40 which I change every 6,000kms. The oil stays clear and clean for about 4,000kms whether I am towing the RV or not. The old 24V sings her song loud and proud, music in my ears. YMMV
