There is a solution to the immediate black oil dilemma.
Before replacing the drain plug, just pour 1/2 or 3/4 of a bottle of any new CJ-4 compliant oil through the engine and let this new oil wash out the black residue remaining in the pan.
You'll see the color difference draining into your oil waste pan. First black, then the clean clear oil coming out as the wash out is completed.
Mind you, your oil is still gonna turn black, but not nearly as fast as it usually does using this method.
