I have a '98 Ram 2500... And it's had some issues.,,but not worth complaining about. I love this truck. If you want a list...the sensor for under the center seat that controls the shoulder harnesses went bad. I replaced it myself. The throttle position sensor has gone out twice...I replaced it. The 5th gear on my NV4500 transmission came off the shaft, I rebuilt the main shaft with a kit from quad 4x4...works great! I've gone thru two a/c compressor clutches...I replaced the compressors. I have had two leaky evaporators, which I've replaced. I'm over 220,000 miles...and I suspect I will need to replace the clutch at some point... not yet,,,knock on wood. I replaced the radiator when it developed a leak. Other than that...It's just been filters, oil, braking components, shocks, tires, batteries, and a fuel boost pump. All in all...I'm VERY happy with this truck. I expect to get another 10 years out of it. I will buy a New 3500 diesel when I retire. I can only hope that it's as good as my present truck.
