It is, but nowadays it's just one example of small turbo engines that are used in all sorts of applications. Never thought I would consider a turbo gas/ diesel, but after having driven a new Honda CRV with the 1.5 liter turbo gas, 4 banger...I'm open to them. Part of my conversion is that the turbocharger seems to last the lifetime of the other engine components, where it used to seem to have a more limited service life.
