Entirely possible, even with a normal truck, and not at all worthy of any specific bragging rights.
Merrit is in the middle of the Coast Range. Most grades in that area are in the 6% plus range. Even your Allison would puke trying pull that weight up most of them. That truck has some serious drive line mods as well as a lot of power.
