Boom! turned 10K on the odometer today!!!...
Turned 55K yesterday towing a combined load of 29K.
You must not tow very often... I've got 57k on my '12 truck.
Not much towing over this last year. I would have around 70 but I bought a 98 2wd 5 speed in April. Did not want to beat up the nice truck helping my Son with his General Contracting business.
Did just come back from SoCal to NW WA weighed the truck at a tad over 14K and the RV just under 15K so a total combined of 29K. Hand calc down and back 9.0 mpg. With that weight and 3:42 gears i am happy with the performance.
Thinking about a 15.......
But your '11 is barely broken in! I do understand the desire for a newer model, though because there are many improvements.
I had to chuckle about leaving SoCal for NW WA at this time of year, isn't it supposed to be the other way around? ;) We are virtually neighbours to you so I am very familiar with the weather this time of year! We just came back from Maui a week ago and are still trying to adjust back to the wet, dark weather :(
Yea nothing really wrong with the truck but thinking of a new MS in a 38' so it will be even heavier. Really would like the improvements of the newer RAM's. Rear air ride should be a nice feature.
Unfortunately we only had about 3 weeks in SoCal normally we would be staying there all winter but we have Family Estate business to deal with.:(
Really sucked seeing all the RV's heading south while we were heading into worse weather by the mile.
Hey Fish I did see "ONE" nice white Ford Car Hauler this trip. He had a nice load.

Here is the RAM in the first pic right lane ahead of the Ford.
