The crew cab has a lot of room, but it depends on your overall family situation.
My preference on 4WD vs. 2WD is that I do not need 4WD, but I want 4WD on my next truck.
My comment is buy what you want, not just necessarily what you need. I want a Dodge Challenger Hellcat, but I don't need one (well, maybe I do need one).
I think you will like the ride with the coil spring suspension. Let us know how it turns out.
