My dealer offered me 14K for my 06 Duramax and I laughed at them. I put it on Craigslist and it was gone in a few days for 21K. I got so much interest that could have held out for even more if I wanted to take the time.
I always knew the trade-in price wasn't great but it seems dealers are taking it to a whole new level these days.
