BTW, $2200 at a dealer isn't a bad price at all. You could probably get it done cheaper at an independent shop though.
I would say probably 50/50, Generally leave it running while fueling, I let it idle upon reaching the campsite, until I get it leveled, and un hooked, I just put AMSOIL in it about 1000 miles ago, switched from Rotella

Sometimes they just have a defect that causes an early demise.
