I've towed two different but boxy trailers with three different trucks. Both trailers have towed well and handled reliably in various situations from emergency braking and swerving on curvy wet mountain highways to bouncing along logging roads. The only thing the that aerodynamic trailer is going to get you might be looks and maybe a little mpg. Low profile trailers might be more prone to dragging and scraping on the ground when crossing RR tracks and entering or exiting driveways... Oh, I see I was beat to the punch.
For my style of camping, low profile would not be good.
