Dec 06, 2017I think you should put, "Not concerned about Mileage," in red with all caps, bold, and underlined lol. A low profile trailer can be a trailer that has a lower interior roof height or a trailer that's lower to the ground. There's not much of a difference in towability with either really. It's still a large brick that you're pulling behind you with really large walls that catch air. Low profile trailers really have their advantage when you're trying to solve clearance issues like getting it under a carport.
The aerodynamic looking cap on the front of trailers also has little effect and is mostly aesthetics. Airsteam trailers are more efficient because all of the corners are smooth and the trailer has a slightly rounded shape. This causes a lot less drag and allows the trailer to slip through the air. If you look at trailers with the aero cap then you'll only find the only smooth transition located at the roof. The rest of the corners on the trailer are pretty sharp and source points for drag.
