With all of the variance in responses, I think the underlying theme for the OP is that proper set-up is far more important for a quality tow than trailer shape and form.
I had a 200 mile trek to haul a utility trailer to a campground, once - worse haul I've ever had in my life. I tow our 35' tt thousands of miles each year without blinking and I've never had an issue. Why? The utility trailer was loaded by a bunch of kids, had too much weight behind the axles, etc... - but our tt is loaded well, properly matched with a capable tv, and connected with a quality hitch with integrated sway control. It's the set-up, not the size and shape, that makes the most difference.
Good luck!
