Does length for sites include tow vehicle?

I'm new to RVing with a travel trailer, but not RVing in general.

When places say max length (ie: 25') does that include the tow vehicle too? I'm guessing so. I've only ever RV'd with a Class B and truck camper thus far, so I honestly never paid any attention to such things. I could fit most anywhere.

But it's a whole other ball of wax now with this 30' trailer plus a 20' truck.
  • You have 50' off TT and truck. You'll need a 50' site. However you can sometimes hang the rear of the TT over the carrier at the end of the CG spur depending on whats under your TT. You can sometimes park your truck off angle if room allows.
  • Usually its the length of trailer only...

When you book sites online, especially state parks they state the total length of pad/driveway.

Usually you park the truck sideways or off to the side...

I have also fudged my lengths either way...

If the site says 25 ft Ill measure without tongue and tell them 26ft. Then I squeeze in.

If its a place I never been I tell them im 30 ft so they give me room...

The downfall on me getting this larger trailer is I cant go everywhere I used to now... Sad...
